Dedicated to advancing research quality, Muhammad Aaqib Shamim completed his medical school (MBBS) and is currently pursuing MD-PhD in Pharmacology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences – Jodhpur, India. He firmly believes in the power of uniting clinical knowledge and research methodology to improve health research and patient outcomes. Shamim is dedicated to enhancing the methodological rigor and statistical robustness of health research, with a particular focus on evidence synthesis – the apex of the evidence pyramid in evidence-based medicine. With multiple publications on the same, including in respected journals like The Lancet Oncology and The Lancet Microbe, he actively promotes the real-world applicability and more accurate interpretation of health research findings. He strives to streamline the production of evidence synthesis for both seasoned and emerging clinicians, laboratory researchers and all health professionals, allowing them to focus on their primary subjects. His objective is to simplify the process of evidence synthesis for them, while still ensuring that their work is robust, sound, and practically useful. He actively collaborates with and guides fellow researchers from different fields for furthering evidence synthesis. He is currently working on several projects involving concise yet comprehensive and beneficial tutorials and guides in this field.
